My 12 Son has been going to Stefanie on the 62nd St. location. She is wonderful and knowledgable and understands growing Kids and my son’s specific needs. Her one on one attention has been so valuable and is helping him recover. Thank you to Heather for making it so easy to schedule and see Stephanie! Thanks you In Touch PT!

PATIENT TESTIMONIALS

I look forward to all of my physical therapy appointments with Hisham. Hisham takes his time to treat your pain. Not only does he apply the right amount of pressure, but he also teaches you stretches and exercises to help during and after your visit. I slept like a baby after my first appointment so I immediately booked another appointment. Definitely loving the way I am feeling now!

I am a dedicated physical therapist with a rich educational and professional background. I was born and raised in Cebu City, Philippines, where I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy at Velez College, graduating Magna Cum Laude. In 2017, I moved to the United States to further my education, earning my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Montana. Since then, I have been a New York state licensed Physical Therapist, working in this capacity since 2017. My experience spans over five years, during which I have worked with a diverse range of patient populations in both homecare and outpatient settings. From 2017 to 2022, I worked as a field Physical Therapist with Rebekah CHHA and also served at Outreach Physical and Occupational Therapy and Speech Rehab. My commitment to my profession is rooted in a desire to help my patients reach their full potential, promoting total mind and body wellness. I am constantly seeking to enhance my skills in manual techniques and functional training through ongoing education, aiming to provide the best possible care to my patients.

“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”

At In Touch NYC Physical Therapy, my specialization lies in working with orthopedic cases and post-surgical patients, particularly those who have undergone total knee or hip replacement surgeries. Additionally, I have extensive experience in treating the geriatric population and managing their diverse health conditions. The conditions I find most rewarding to treat include low back pain, shoulder impingement, rotator cuff tears, and osteoarthritis. My primary goal is to help patients manage and decrease their pain, and significantly improve their mobility. This focus is essential to enable them to return to their regular activities of daily living and engage in recreational activities without discomfort.

What I particularly enjoy about working here is the opportunity to have one-on-one treatment sessions with my patients. This personalized approach allows me to provide the best possible care without distractions, ensuring that each patient receives the focused attention they need for optimal recovery and rehabilitation.
