Freddy Alva
Acupuncturist
I am Freddy Alva, and my background in Traditional Chinese Medicine, with a Master of Science from Pacific College, has been fundamental to my professional journey. With over 15 years of experience performing acupuncture in various medical settings, I have honed a skill set that enables me to address a wide array of health issues effectively.
My practice, Alva Acupuncture, is a culmination of this extensive experience, providing me with the resources to utilize what works best for individual ailments at any given time. Whether it’s providing pain relief for chronic or acute conditions, managing stress, offering fertility treatments, addressing seasonal allergies, or tackling a range of internal issues, my approach is to treat the root of the problem. This focus on the underlying cause rather than just the symptoms allows for a more comprehensive and effective treatment, enhancing the overall well-being of my patients.

At In Touch NYC Physical Therapy, I specialize in performing acupuncture, primarily focusing on chronic and acute musculoskeletal injuries. My passion lies in treating conditions related to pain relief and stress management. In my practice, I strive to address and alleviate not only pain and stress but also other concerns such as digestion issues, and providing support for fertility.
What I find most rewarding about working here is the opportunity to help patients return to their normal lives. Seeing the tangible improvements in their health and well-being as a result of my treatments is incredibly fulfilling. It’s about making a real difference in their daily lives, whether it’s through relieving pain, reducing stress, improving digestive health, or aiding in fertility. This ability to positively impact patient health across various aspects is what I value most about my role at In Touch NYC Physical Therapy.
